The Saint is back. Fifty audiobooks are now available starring the debonair classic-crime hero. Simon Templar is the Saint - daring, dazzling, and just a little disreputable.

With the invaluable assistance of Hoppy Uniatz and the help of a beautiful actress, the Saint tracks down the King of the Beggars, instigator of an ugly racket designed to exploit the beggars of the city. And then he must turn to fight a ruthless crook who will stop at nothing, including murder, to make “The Masked Angel” a champion boxer.

Leslie Charteris was born in Singapore and moved to England in 1919. He left Cambridge University early when his first novel was accepted for publication. He wrote novels about the Saint throughout his life, becoming one of the 20th century's most prolific and popular authors.

The Saint stories are a fun distraction while I exercise or work in the garden. The stories are fun romps in time. The narrator does a great job presenting the characters and I especially enjoy his interpretation of Hoppy.

Overall....a good experience.
