Similar but different

The accent is not irritating. Lots of different characters. I like how the story intwines.

Somewhat repetitive

I very much liked the first two books and the story of Ian in the third. I gave this boxed set 4 stars on the basis of the first 2 books and the story of Ian. However, the theme of wounded characters was wearing a little thin. I had to force my way through the fourth book. I am going to switch to reading for the fifth book to confirm whether or not the trend holds before I spend anymore money. It becomes too much like reading the same story over and over again. That wouldn’t be unique to this author, I have run across the tendency many times while reading a book series. However, I loved the concept and the playfulness of the faerie and the acceptance the time travelers received.

I thought the narration by Shane East and Emma Wilder was very good, but I didn’t like the other narrators.
