"Cheesy teen horror"

I didn't expect it to be all that for a YA horror but I fairly enjoyed the book, I had to admit it the ending was surprising but overall it was pretty good.

Great story from the beginning and never expected the plot twist at the end! Highly recommend for anyone who is a fan of horror!

Good Job for a first timer

Good book, but a little disjointed. I enjoyed it knowing it was a young author, but would have been more critical if it had been a seasoned author

the beginning was slow

the first half of the book I wanted to stop listening because it was slow. I'm glad I kept listening because the book picked up towards the end. overall, it was descent.

Slow starter, not really about campfire tales.

It takes about half the book for this to really get going. And then it kicks into high gear. The ending was a surprise, I won't give it away, but I'm still a little confused into the motives. They explain it, but I still don't see the entire point. I was hoping for more of a supernatural thriller, given the premise of campfire stories, but that is not what this is.

The book is definitely geared more towards young adults. It's a good, but not really scary. The narration is pleasing.
