This story reads like a children's book with a few bad words to spice it up. Not her best work.

Anything written by Fannie Flagg is a delight! Even the recipes she includes in the last chapter of this particular book. Wish she'd written more..

Funny and light

I thoroughly enjoyed this lighthearted read. It was easy to listen to and made me smile. Not a whole lot to sink your teeth into but the narration was excellent and the characters classic in typical Fannie Flagg style. This is a 'feel good' book - and a good one at that!

Good book

Very much enjoyed the book. It's a feel good book. Everyone should have a person like her in their lives.

The main character Eleanor Shimfizzle

I loved this book. I cried, I laughed, and I cried when it was over. Eleanor is a wonderful character. All of the questions she could come up with were fantastic. It makes a person think more about all of this wonderful world in a different way for the good of course. My favorite part was the way the author really made going to heaven feel like coming home. Alot of people were better off knowing Eleanor and she was generous doing to help. She also did not brag about. I look forward to more of her books.
