An engineer finds himself in an alternate reality, Cornwall, in the year 715 A.D. He awakens in the body of a young Baron.

James Fletcher, now the Count of Cornwall, is facing new adversaries in the Franks. They try to assassinate him and his family, precipitating a full-out war.

In the meantime, advancements were made in steam engines, cannons, ships, and electricity.

Continue on with this wild ride through the eighth century.

Really enjoy these types of books. The author does an excellent job for this genre. Frankly, I haven’t found a book that I dislike that he’s written that’s up on Audible.

Another great entry in the series!

First, please keep these coming! 15 books would be a minimum. This is great work! So much potential as well.

A great series if a bit technical or dry. But it keeps everything fleshed out nicely if you ask me.

Hurry up and release the next book. Do you not like a guaranteed sale?

The years have advanced 5-10 years or so and our engineer is settling in nicely. There's more of a story in this one. However, I'm always left with the feeling of missing out as it all progresses so quickly. This could easily be a 5 star series if each novel was 3-4 times as long. In it's current form, it's a fun listen, but not something I'm likely to come back and listen to again anytime soon. Perhaps if this entire series became one book?

I'd listen to the next in the series if I catch it one sale.

More of a story in this one

I love the theme of technology advancing society. Unfortunately the writing is poor and the creativity has run dry. I won’t buy the next book and I regret reading this one.

A disappointment
