Story line

Loved this book, the story line, could not put it down. Love romance crime, sitting on the edge

I quickly disliked max's voice but pushed through the book to see how the plot would play out. Happy I did

The female narrator was perfect
I liked the male voice in and of itself but it didn’t match the MMC. His voice is too gruff and mature for an 18 year old.

Jennifer Hartmann rips my heart out every time

I don’t know why I continue to do this to myself. I know by now any Jennifer Hartmann book is bound to make me cry and this one was no different. One of my favorite authors when I need a good cry. I have never not enjoyed one of her books!
