Funny, heartbreaking, and true.

Loved the narrator. Story moved me in many ways. I regret that I wasn't able to read this 15 years ago. Should be required reading for all nurses. Michael you are a gifted author. I feel so lucky to have this book, and will be sharing it with others.

Staying Positive

This book showed gratitude and perseverance. To overcome challenges and to make light of it is inspirational. Great meeting you Mike at our Leadership Blair chamber class. The world need more people like you. Like you said in the book, your heart doesn’t have room for hate and love. Choosing love wins every time.

Must listen to!

I am paralyzed from the waist down, I met Mike very early on in my injury… and I was not in a mental state to handle much of anything. After 10+ years I got myself together and have come to know mike as a professional contact and friend. Listening to this book was very enlightening to me and makes me understand him and his family much more. I am grateful he got this to audible so I could finally “read his book”. I believe everyone should listen to/read his book! It really is about enjoying the moment in life and not about the end destination!
