Excellent story overall

Michael Wood does an excellent job of bringing the reader into the story and along for an interesting character study. Perceptive readers will catch on to the clues strewn throughout the plot and enjoy the ending. To say more might spoil this mystery.

Shocking Ending

I rea)y enjoyed listening to "Chapter One". The story really kept my interest. The characters were well developed and the story line was great. The ending however was a reL surprise. Usually I have an idea of who the murderer is. In this case I would never have guessed the murderer. The narrators did a great job. I highly recommend this book.

I enjoyed how the story would flip from the author’s life to the first chapt of each book.

Excellent story, pieced together nicely. You’ll figure out the “mystery” early on but it does not diminish the enjoyment of the story.

It kept my interest but...

It was quite predictable which is okay but it really dragged in positing how everything was going to turn. However, I would read another book from this author. The character development was well done.
