Very convicting and gospel centered.

Very helped by the sections on patience, kindness, gentleness and self control. Was constantly led to pray to God to continue to transform my sinful heart as I continued to examined my heart against the many helpful exhortations.

This book is so clear, so practical, and so VERY helpful.

Convicting & Encouraging Book

Aaron Menikoff’s book on character in ministry is engaging, penetrating, and edifying. As he walks through each of the fruits of the spirit and applies them to Gospel ministry, he does not always take the application where I expected, but the applications is consistently valid and pack a punch. It is clear he is writing from experience.

The narration is good but not great. I would have preferred the author read the text.
