Grace has it all. Of course, it's all courtesy of her Hollywood father. The best clothes, biggest house, a huge bank account and despite the fact she exceeds the age of 30, she has quite the career as a 'B' movie starlet.

However, all that changes the day she and her best friend witness a murder.

Under the direction of the FBI and the Witness Relocation Program, Grace and her eccentric, effeminate designer friend, Freddy, must leave their lives behind and start afresh.

For their protection, they are immediately uprooted. They are forced to trade their big houses and pampered existence in Hollywood for a mobile home and jobs at the local bargain store in a small town in Ohio.

It is a comical transition as they leave their princess lives behind for what they call the nightmare world of being ‘everyday'.

Starting over has its advantages. Through their new lives, along with their new eclectic group of friends, Grace and Freddy soon learn that being rich isn't always the secret to having a charmed life.

I loved this book, it was light hearted and made me laugh - a lot! We all need a friend like Freddie in our lives.
