Old fashioned love story with hot zing

In our chaotic world, it’s so good to escape into an old fashioned, albeit somewhat predictable love story with a nice, uplifting, even soppy ending. Wish there was a fourth in this sequel.

strong characters, humor, and love. Great performance, great voice. if Eric were only rea! lol. i enjoyed every minute. l

no and yes

I didn't love Eric to begin with. he comes across a bit disconnected, not at all sympathetic, missing something emotionally. he seemed to fake it the entire book. but by the end I was kind of rooting for him. the hopeless romantic in me just wanted there to be something real between them. but this is pure fiction and fanciful too, because I don't believe for a minute that personally type could bridge the gap and be a decent person. that was my hang up the entire time. my inner trust issues that prevented me from believing in him. I must be a Nell at heart. disclaimer - I have a little more than an hour left in the book. I just know the author will make him good at heart and it's sort of disappointing and great at the same time.

If you could sum up Chaser in three words, what would they be?

Kinda slow burn. Good but not the chemistry of the others in this series.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The male leads thoughts......do guys really think like that?

Would you listen to another book narrated by Will Damron?

Yes, but a different series that I have not been spoiled by the previous narrator.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No. needed breaks as it did not keep me gripped.

Not my fav of this series

The first 2 books held my attention but this one was a struggle for me. It was fairly predictable so it was hard for me to get through it. :(
