It sounds incredible, but running can be a thoroughly enjoyable, lifelong practice - without injury or fatigue. Ultramarathoner Danny Dreyer combines the wisdom of T'ai Chi with insights of a champion runner to present ChiRunning, a step-by-step audio program to help everyone from beginners to professionals "run like a kid again" - effortless, free, and boundlessly energetic.

In high school I loved running cross country and track until I had to stop due to knee surgeries starting the end of my sophomore year. It took more than ten years to start running again. Thanks to chi running I will be able to continue running pain free and injury free using this method of running and learning to listen to what my body is telling me. The principles in this book are not exclusive to running and can be used in every aspect of your life to find balance.

Great book for the returning runner

I bought this audio book and for the first 50 minutes, the author explains why this is such a great running technique. It's only a 3 hour and 45 minute book and 1/4 of it was fluff. Fortunately, I received the written book as a download or I would have returned it.

Disappointed

Basically just a guided walk through of running form with a guy who is trying to be zen. I read or listen to an running book every year and this ranks among the lowest of take away info

I really enjoy his explanations of positions and focuses that were never taught to me anywhere else! Great book- I suggest it to people at least on a weekly basis
