To top it all off, his great aunt has run off with her new man, leaving her dusty, musty old bookshop in Levi's inexperienced hands. Apprentice witch Margot is desperate to finally finish her studies and make her parents proud. After all, getting qualified in magic is the only way to make a living in the magical realm.

Problem is… she's really not very good at it.

Her last chance lies here, in the snowy mountains that surround Girdwood Springs: a magical flower that only blooms in the coldest depths of winter, which has been lost to the ages. Find the flower, and she passes her studies. Fail, and she can forget about making her way in magical society. Not to mention the shame she'll bring to her family.

Now, if only she weren't getting so distracted by this charming human town, with its delicious food, mysterious 'Christmas' festival, delightful old bookstore, and the dark and brooding man who has offered to help her with her quest…
