A thriller

Well done. We seldom encounter really well-written stories that have all of the best ingredients: great story, memorable characters, both heroes and villains, and fast-paced narration. .It keeps us fully engaged and rapt. Can’t wait for the next book.

Great legal thriller

An autistic man goes rock climbing with his best friend. Unbeknownst to the man, his friend and his wife are having an affair. At the ed of the climb only one man survives.
This was a very enjoyable legal thriller about the criminal defense. The question of guilt or innocence is raised throughout the book, keeping the reader in suspense until the very end.
The cast of characters is well-drawn and I look forward to reading about them again in the forthcoming second book in this series.

I love Wyatt Blake! This book had a great pace and interesting character development. I loved how the story has background on the legal system built right into it. It was fun to feel like I was learning a little while I enjoyed the storyline. The characters are believable and appealing throughout the whole book. I was trying to figure out how the story would end and I just couldn’t get a handle on what might happen. Can’t wait to read more about Wyatt Blake! The descriptions of his opposition were even interesting and fun to imagine. The audiobook also came with a few preview chapters of the next Wyatt Blake book, which already got me hooked.

A Legal Thriller with a Dash of Common Sense and a Sprinkle of Humor

I really enjoyed A Choice of Evils. It’s a well-written and engaging legal thriller that held my attention from beginning to end. The characters are believable, and the story does a great job of making you care about the outcome. The good characters are genuinely likable, while the villains are convincingly dislikable—just as they should be in a story like this.

Swingle’s writing is descriptive without ever dragging; the pacing feels tight, and the courtroom scenes in particular are compelling and realistic. He strikes a good balance between plot development and character depth, making it easy to become invested in both the case and the people involved.

If you’re a fan of legal dramas or crime fiction with a strong sense of morality and justice, this book is definitely worth picking up.
