The horrible narrating.

The narrator was hard to listen to. He made every female character sound like a 14 yr old girl at a slumber party, making it hard to take them seriously. He made the dialogue happy and jovial when it didnt seem to call for it. The way he emphasized words didn't sound the way a real conversation would have gone.

story was pretty good, but narrator has only one voice tone, regardless of the situation.

Very insightful telling with earnest inflection when appropriate.

New sailors will be grateful to understand that there is lots of water out there.

Good start to the new series

Another well written piece of work and totally like the fact that the narrator remains the same from Bullshark and Enterprise book collections.

Good Start

Coming from the USS Bull Shark series it was not a letdown. I’m not giddy, but I’ll see what Scott does in book two. I’m hoping to get that excitement as from the David Wolf, Penn Cage, Jack Reacher and Mitch Rapp books. Dave Alexander is an excellent performer/reader. On to book 2.
