Prince Dorian of Anura has been looking a little green lately...literally. After an encounter with a disgruntled princess, a curse has left him with a rather frog-like appearance. Desperate to find a woman to break his son's curse, King Ion decides to host a lavish, golden ball. The only problem? The kingdom is short on funds, and the king's grand plans could send their small kingdom into bankruptcy.

Lydian Miller has always been her father's pride and joy. In fact, he is so proud of her skills as an artist that he drunkenly claims one night that she could turn straw into gold if she wanted to. These claims reach the king of Anura, and before she knows what is happening, Lydian finds herself locked in a room full of straw. The king has one order: turn the straw into golden party decorations or forfeit her life. All seems lost...until a funny, green-looking fellow arrives with just the help she needs.

Who is her mysterious savior? Why is the golden ball so important? And who would even want her firstborn child, anyway?

THIS IS A WONDERFUL SWEET AND CLEAN FROG PRINCE/RUMPELSTILTSKIN STORY, I LOVE THE FRESH TAKE ON THE TALE, AND LIGHTHEARTEDNESS OF THE BOOK. AND THE NARRATOR IS FANTASTIC!
PERFECT FOR TEENS AND ADULTS ALIKE!
I CANNOT WAIT TO LISTEN TO MORE FROM THIS AUTHOR AND NARRATOR!

I really loved this book!!

I really loved reading this wonderful book! I loved the characters and the plot! I absolutely loved this retelling of Rumpelstilskin and THE Frog Prince! I had a hard time putting this really wonderful book down! I am really looking forward to reading the next book in this really wonderful series!

Enjoyable and fun!

This is a really fun twist on The Frog Prince and Rumpelstiltskin combined. The story is enjoyable and clean. It is well written with believable characters and good family relationships.

Another quick and fun Sarah Beran fairy tale. This one combines The Frog Prince and Rumpelstiltskin, doing an admirable job of weaving them together. It’s lightweight and a little cheesy at times, but entertaining all the same. Beran doesn’t spend a great deal of time explaining the magic system, but I liked how it was musical.

The characters are likable and the romance well done. I especially appreciated that their relationship isn’t based on physical attraction, but friendship and compatibility. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

There is no foul language, sex, or violence. The romance is limited to a chaste kiss. There is fae-based magic. There is no real mention of faith or God.
