Despite her many qualms about age and intimacy, they fell in love.

Can't remember anything I disliked. I can relate with the main character, for I too, have found love at the age of 83.

I listened to this book on audible. I first listened to “chosen by a horse” so I had the background, not that it was necessary, but it was nice. I really loved listening to this book as much as the last. I think that having the right person to read a book is so important. Lorna Raver did a fantastic job conveying the sarcasm and whit that Susan wrote. Delightful!

Tuning In to my Susan Richards Special

Lorna Ravers reads this so well I hear her voice as my own inner monologue during the day. I adore her way of reading Susans memoirs.
This is my second book, Chosen By a Horse brought me here. While I adore the first title (I've read it numerous times since a young horse crazy girl) this book was a fun touch on the life of a recently publish author. Like a show on the TV I get to tune into.

listener beware

listening to this book in public is bound to cause, at very least, sideways glances. People may even ask if you are ok. You will find yourself laughing out loud, gasping and possibly wiping away a tear. just recommend the book and keep listening. it is worth it.
