Grizzly’s chosen mate

Callie is such a likable character and so much more generous and open hearted than I would be when it comes to the vapid, despicable, shallow crew of Lindsay, Ashley, Madison and Brittany. Jason is a former celebrity shifter who is living in his cabin in the woods. He’s honorable and protective, not the uncontrolled hot head he’s been portrayed as.
Callie’s sister Lindsay and her mean girl friends drag C with them into the woods so that she’ll do the work related to camping. They don’t tell Callie they’re trying to find the secret home of the reclusive former star so they can post online.
Tables are turned on the mean girls when they’re chased away by a bear, and the bear claims Callie as his mate.
There are a few scenes that are not remotely believable - girl with broken leg being able to climb up on and ride the back of a grizzly bear? No matter how cooperative the shifter, she would be SCREAMING in pain. How is Lindsay texting or calling Callie, or sending her video, if C has her phone and the reception is so bad?
Marlowe does a decent job of narration.

I’m a fan of shifter stories. This, however, was horribly written. The narration was awful, cringy, ridiculous. So poorly done!
