With Israel being in exile nearly seven decades, Daniel was eager for the nation’s physical and spiritual restoration. However, the Lord revealed that His plans for Israel would reach into the distant future, encompassing a period of seventy weeks.

In this remarkable revelation, God outlined a precise chronology when Christ would come and die to achieve redemption, and when the Antichrist would rise and reign but ultimately be destroyed.

At the end, Christ will return, conquer the Antichrist, destroy Israel’s enemies, and cause all Israel to turn to Him in repentance. Establishing universal and absolute peace, Christ will usher in His millennial kingdom and reign as King over all the earth.
