In the heart of a vibrant community, there lies a mega size Pentecostal Holiness church by the name of "Get Right Outreach Center"-(GROC). It is here where we meet our protagonist, a young black man who is deeply devoted to his faith and serves as the choir director. He is beloved by his church family, but lately, he has begun to question the teachings of his community.

The church's doctrine preaches that only members of their church are children of God, and this belief has been causing turmoil within him. As he delves deeper into his questioning, he wonders why the leaders of the church are not teaching what he believes Jesus taught. The young man finds himself at a crossroads, struggling to reconcile his love for his church with his growing doubts about its teachings.

Thankfully, the young man has a loving grandfather who keeps it "real" with the Lord. He is a beacon of hope and guidance for our protagonist, who feels lost and alone in his spiritual journey. Together, they explore the teachings of Jesus and try to find answers to the questions that plague him.

As the story progresses, tensions rise within the church community, and our protagonist finds himself caught in the middle of it all. The conflict between his faith and his doubts becomes more pronounced, leading to a climactic scene where he must confront the church's leaders about their teachings.
