As a construction worker (human), I have come to understand the importance of certain materials in my daily work. One such material is determination. Without it, the heavy lifting and long hours would feel insurmountable. But with determination, every obstacle can be overcome, and every task completed with pride.

Black and white takes a narrative look at how the white church differs from the black church in America. Bishop Hamright explores how race, history, and lived experiences have shaped two distinct yet intertwined expressions of Christianity in America-the black church and the-white church and how these difference continue to affect theology, politics, worship, community, and justice. Hamright’s goal is to offer humble steps to help the church to move beyond awareness into understanding, healing, and unity through truth, even if the truth hurts.

It begins with the birth of the American church, where European roots intertwine with the grim realities of slavery and colonization, shaping an early theology that could not escape the shadows of segregation. From the very beginning, worship was divided, laying the groundwork for a future rife with conflict. As we enter recent realities, we witness stark contrasts in worship styles and musical expressions between Black and White churches today.

In "The Adom Chronicles," listeners meet the Adom family, a lively and loving group from Africa who have recently moved to a new city. The parents, Kwabena and Ama, are struggling to keep control of their three imaginative children, Kofi, Akosua, and Yaw. The children's powers are unusual—whatever they imagine comes to life. This leads to mayhem and hilarity in the Adom household on a daily basis. Kwabena and Ama can only speak a little English, which adds to the humor of the story as their sentences are never complete.

It challenges Christian communities to move beyond mere appearances to embrace true transformation that mirrors God’s Kingdom in all aspects. The introduction defines cosmetic diversity as the visible presence of different faces in choirs, marketing, and other platforms. Structural equity is described as equal access to leadership roles, resources, and decision-making processes.

The year is 4059, and the fate of humanity hangs in the balance amidst the chaos of a raging interstellar war. As laser cannons blaze and star destroyers clash in the inky void, a soft chime cuts through the din on Luna 1 Station. It's a transmission from the research and development team, heralding a breakthrough that could turn the tide of this desperate conflict.
