On a majestic little planet far out in space lives the enchanting family of the Clangers, a community of small pink mouse-like creatures who speak in soft, musical whistles. Their world is filled with wonder, invention, and friendship, where every day brings a new discovery beneath the starry sky.

The Clanger family consists of the inventive Major Clanger, who is always busy building ingenious contraptions; the caring and practical Mother Clanger, who keeps everything running smoothly; the adventurous Small Clanger, who loves to explore; and the generous Tiny Clanger, whose kindness shines through in everything she does. Together, they live in harmony within their cratered home, where imagination and music fill the air.

Their closest friends include the Soup Dragon and her Baby Dragon, who live deep beneath the surface and provide the Clangers with their much-loved green soup. There is also the Iron Chicken, who watches over the planet from her metal nest, the melodic Music Trees, the playful Froglets, and the mysterious Hoots who visit from afar.

Each story in Series 1 is a gentle adventure — from investigating curious pieces of space debris to helping visitors from distant worlds, or discovering new ways to play and create. With their characteristic warmth and curiosity, the Clangers remind us all of the simple joys of kindness, teamwork, and wonder.
