Terrible narration, nice story

I’ve listened to over 500 audiobooks, the ai narration in this was very poor. Typically I’m not too picky on narration, but this Ai stuff is not good. At first I decided not to continue listening, but I was intrigued by the storyline leading up to WW2 so I finished it. The description of life in that time was interesting. It was a simple story and easy to follow even though the narration impacted it quite a bit. I think that if it had been performed better, I would have given it a higher rating. I’d listen to more of the author’s works if they are better narration.

Narration AI voice terrible

The story itself was pretty good. The narration on the other hand was not. It really took away from the story. No emotion. I wish audible would stop using it.
