Excellent story

Wonderful story, but it took a bit to adjust to the ai narration which was not good. I’m glad it was included with my membership otherwise I would have been extremely disappointed with the narration.

Kind of boring?

It had good reviews, but I thought it was a little boring. I kept waiting for it to get started, but it never really did get started. How it starts is how it continues and finishes, pretty slow. And nothing new. Sorry I don’t want to hurt anybody’s feelings, but I prefer a faster paced story.

Terrible AI delivery ruins the story

If you are looking to debate the benefits of AI this is not going to win you any arguments. Disjointed speech patterns, lack of inflection, and a myriad of mispronunciations leave the listener begging for a human connection. Unfortunately, I did not realize that Audible had resorted to using AI delivery until the purchase was completed. I will be paying much closer attention to the narrator from now on.
The story itself is quite captivating and I hope to be able to find the book at my local library so I can enjoy it in the way the author intended.

Ai is terrible

This was my first experience with an Ai narrator. The emphasis on words in each phrase was quite awful. As we know, expression and emphasis is critical when reading aloud. If Audible stopped using real narrators I would have to discontinue my account. I could never recommend a book that was delivered by a virtual voice to anyone after this experience. The story was very difficult to finish. No fault to the author, but hopefully someone else will soon narrate this book and do justice to the story.

I will not order another book that is AI narrated, Ruined all pleasure in the book.
Same reflection in sentence after sentence. No live narrator would sound like this. Just horrible.
