ayanokoji who is supposed to sound disinterested, sounds instead like a valley girl. chabushira sensei is read with the exact same voice as Koenji. the reader of the 5 previous books wasuch better but this is still listenable. still, some of the characters don't sound quite right and its hard to overlook, which is why the performance is rated 3 stars

the reader up-talks EVERYTHING

The reader does just that, read. In previous books, Eddy Lee, at least sounded more like a high schooler, and even tried to talk like a female. Zions Jong is not bad for a reader, however he makes the characters sound like grown men. It detracts from the story's presentation.

wrong reader

Eddie Lee brought something special to this serries that the new narrorator does not have. I often wondered if the narrorator remembered that hes voicing a high-school boy. in some instances he made Ayonokoji sound like a pompish brat while at other times he sounded way to manly to be a highschooler. I realize that the change is permanent going forward but switching narrorators mid way through is jarring and takes a lot of listeners out of it who've gone accustomed to the old one.

should not of switched narrorators

Plot is fantastic and the characters are deep and well thought out. Unfortunately the new VA leaves quite a bit to be desired.

Excellent story

I had fun listening to the book. I liked the previous reader more but this guy came into his own towards the end. Fun story

New narrator got better towards the end
