Reporter Holly Thorne is intrigued by Jim Ironheart, who has saved 12 lives in the past three months. Holly wants to know what kind of power drives him, why terrifying visions of a churning windmill haunt his dreams, and just what he means when he whispers in his sleep that an enemy who will kill everyone is coming."A master storyteller, sometimes humorous, sometimes shocking, but always riveting. His characters sparkle with life. And his fast-paced plots are wonderfully fiendish, taking unexpected twists and turns." Although I have read or listened to many Dean Koontz books, this is one of my absolute favorites! Published in 1991, I can't believe I missed this one! The story has so many twists that it truly kept me engaged until the very last paragraph! Even though I now know the ending, I can't wait to listen again to find what I missed the first time!

A New Twist to the Very End!

The first of the book was awesome, vintage Dean Koontz. It was scary, and kept you on the edge of your seat wondering about the enemy...then it just got wierd. Overall it was a good read, just could have been better.

Could have been so much better
