Could not finish

I like the other books before but could not finish this one. The characters too whinny and yet they still love each other they tell each other it won’t work out. And the female questioning Jackson on why they did what they did on mission she was like whinny child. I just could not finish I tried listen to all but last two hours. Hope the next one not like this. Willing to try again because the others were good.
