Heroic first responders and their K-9 partners put their lives and hearts on the line to rescue the innocent in the second installment of this sweet, pulse-pounding series!

Book #5: The Secret Crush Rescue
A K9-certified EMT is crushing on a new girl in town and lands a half-blind date with her — right before disaster strikes.

Book #6: The Bachelorette Rescue
The co-producer of a survivalist show is secretly in love with the girl next door, but he’s afraid that dating her could ruin their close friendship. It takes a dangerous blizzard on set to convince him that what they have is worth fighting to turn into more.

Book #7: The Rebound Rescue
A former bodybuilder joins the world of search and rescue operations and immediately puts his skills — and his heart — to the test during an emergency call from a stranded hiker.

Book #8: The Fake Bride Rescue
It’s supposed to be a weekend of fun and relaxation for an off-duty firefighter and his fake date at his high school reunion — until a fire breaks out and the feelings he’s not supposed to have for her simmer into something more.

I enjoyed the last story the most because it really made me laugh. I enjoyed the story about the botanist best, too. 😂 That doesn’t make sense. Anyway, I enjoyed the last two stories. I think because they were funny but to the point and didn’t waste my time with unnecessary drama.

The story was great, funny, charming but had nothing to do with K-9 fire dog/handler job. Then you had to concentrate so hard to keep up with who was actually speaking because of the AI voice destroying the mood, atmosphere, context, grammar…should I go on? You can NOT replace the human voice for the proper reading of a story! It’s very sad that AI is being used at all. I’m buying fewer audiobooks and making choices more selectively for the human voice!

When will they listen about AI voices?!
