Underrated

Heather Guerre’s books are amazing! She’s an incredible writer and always seems to create these incredibly heartwarming relationships as well as great plots. I feel like this wasn’t as highly rated as it should be because of the narrator. If you listen to it on normal speed it’s super slow and it threw me off but I changed the playback speed to 1.10x and it was much better and I actually really enjoyed the narrator’s performance.

One of my favorite shifter romances!

I loved this book (this whole series really)! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is I felt that the hero didn’t grovel enough and how he initially treated the heroine and his assumptions of her were not really addressed. Overall a great read, I really enjoyed the story and can’t wait for the rest of the series to come out!

Don’t believe every review!

I held back on this one because of the mixed reviews and kept skipping it but today I hit play and this was so good. I enjoyed it. Caleb was an ass so many times but this gets better and truth are revealed and boom it all connects and yeap you will enjoy it. It’s a slow paced story with twist and turns overall a good read.

Boring and not well written

I didn’t think the story was particularly well written. The narration was awful. The main male character sounded like a 12-year-old boy.

Very good

I really liked it, a little extra slow burn for my taste, but worth the read for sure!!
