It’s about making sure they understand Christ stands willing to welcome them as they are. It’s about recognizing that He will perfect them in the process of time. It’s about helping them see that everyone can Come as They Are.

absolutely amazing

uplifting, validating, and loving. although the author explains some of the things that have created dissonance between some individuals and the church, he does so lovingly and is not against the church in any way. his thoughts were an exact reflection of how I have felt in my own church experience recently and it was comforting to hear them reflected back to me

I loved this book and will be reading it again.

This is the perfect book to address how sometimes culture can get muddy our youth's connection to the Savior.

A powerful vision of what church can be

Compelling and challenging, but also very much from inside the faith. He gave me so many ideas of how to love and support my brothers and sisters in Christ and how to give myself grace for where I am on my journey.

I completely agree that connecting with Jesus in a personal way is what we all need in order to love each other better.
