Incandescent

This thrilling, high-octane adventure chronicle was free on Audible during the summer of 2025, and I happened to come across it. Wow ! This free book gripped my brain so thoroughly that I had to listen well into the night. I couldn’t fathom how such a quality book would end up on the “free” list, but I’m grateful that it did. What a delicious feast for a picky reader like me. Usually when I listen, I spend my time mentally rearranging sentence structures or changing the word choices, but both of the authors (along with whoever edited this book) did a phenomenal job.
Thoroughly enjoyable, delightfully addictive—I began book two (also free?! Thank you Audible!) and will be buying books three and four when my new credits come in. (Yes, I’m one of THOSE people who consume audio books like water.)

Listened obsessively. Yes!!!

Not only is it narrated by Emily Woo Zeller, who is fabulous... But the story is great! I started listening, knowing nothing. So fun. Pleasantly surprised by so many turns in the story. Fresh and not cookie cutter. A big YES for this one!

Good, but ...

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I'd recommend it but I'm afraid we'll not get anymore in the series because the authors changed the primary character in book 3 forcing a different narrator, different voice, etc. Bad form in my opinion.

4th time im listening

this is the 4th time im listening to this series and I wish desperately for it to be completed and all put on audio. figured since I've listened and read it so many times I should leave a review which I never do. but this book.... this series is definitely worth your credit, your time, your laughs, and your tears. I know this isn't grammatically correct but quickly done I just felt compelled to share with u all how much I loooove this series.
