In the early 1900s a courageous young woman challenges the prejudices of the times, becomes an attorney, and fights for the disenfranchised. She tangles with the powerful to free a Native American, to defend a man accused of killing an ex-governor, and free the son of her best friend who is accused of murder.

Well written and beautifully narrated. Evil villains versus salt of the earth people in the old west.

Great sequel, hope there’s more!

The author intertwines the history of the great people who moved from distant lands in hope of freedom and the American dream in the late 1880's and early 1900's in Southern Idaho with a very intriguing plot of hope, deception and finally justice. Very well written. I highly recommend this book.
