I loved this book it was crazy good and I’m excited to find out that this is based of a series so off to read that series now.

A dark love story… if you dare

The excellent narration really brings this story to life. Tempest is drawn into a world of organized crime. It’s a life he never asked for, and he can’t leave. His status as a college student is a front for the larger criminal operation. Ardyn is his little sister’s best friend, and both of them are on HIS campus.

Ardyn has scars of her own. Kidnapped as a child and held for ransom, her return to her privileged life meant living a suffocating, guarded existence. Her father shelters her and the trauma leaves her with fragile mental health. A night out with her friends ends in tragedy and leads to her involuntary commitment until college.

Crossing paths with Tempest is dangerous and she knows it. Their attraction is dark, head-spinning and undeniable. What happens when their worlds collide and start a chain reaction neither can stop?

I enjoyed this story. If you love dark romance, this story is for you.
