Not least for Hannah, who is finally forced to confront her own past.

A bit twisted

Narration was good. I set speed at .9 to match my brain waves. It was a set up for a gnarly second act if the author gets around to it. Tolstoy would have wrote it as one book but nowadays I guess 11 hours is the standard and it did stand alone. It plays some cool games with the readers’ attachments to the characters in epic Scandinavian noir form; Also a female super villain was just waiting to come along in this genre and we got it here. I don’t like Audible just plunging me into another ‘preview’ book that I didn’t ask for immediately after my last book was done; it’d be okay if they just asked if I would like to be upsold after finishing a book before they went ahead and did so. This is supposed to be a book business, not a marketing business.

Great story

Very well read, story really pulls you in! This was my first book by this author and I will definitely be listening to more.
