this is a urban fantasy, slow burn romance, dark love, magical elements, fated, soul mates, cheating (not between main characters), professor + cowboy, single pov, third act break up, cliff hanger, book one 🥃

iris is a harvard professor and someone who believes they have their life together. after finding out that she inherited a pendant from her mother, she begins to discover all these magical things about her history and her life starts to flip upside down. from navigating through old relationship, finding out dark secrets about her past, falling for someone so fast, and then having to run to protect those she cares about.

i absolutely loved the plot and how the pendant plays such a huge role throughout this book !! definitely can’t wait to start the next one 🤩 i NEED to know what’s going to happen omg
