I loved the story

I am looking forward to the rest of the series but if this guy narrators them I will have to read them. Certain parts the narration was ok but in most of it his voice just wasn't working for me. However that is just my opinion someone else might love this narrator

Maddox & Asher

Maddox is leaving the service after diagnosed with ptsd. His best friend and co-SEAL is driving him to his new home. Asher wants him to deal with his issues and not get involved in more combat. Maddox has a crisis of sexual identity on the two day trip. They definitely have no idea how to keep a low profile, which is in contrast to if they were actual SEALs.

Sizzling!

I enjoyed this prequel to the Mayberry Protectors series, though reading it out of order (I already loved all the other books).
Ash and Maddie are sizzling hot together and having been best friends for all their lives their love for each other was never in doubt. But when things start to get physical, much to Maddox’s consternation first, and Asher’s later, too, things go full steam (literally) ahead.
I loved Dan Levy’s performance.
