Should have listened to the sample

The story involved cute characters working together but I feel it didn’t have the depth in the plot like others similar in cupcake and coffeehouse murder mysteries.

If I had listened to the sample I would not have purchased the audio book. I felt like I was being read to at story time. Sorry, I listened to the end but this book did not impress me enough to continue with audio if the author keeps the same narrator.
