I'm so in love with Sam and Noel and all her crazy family! I don't think I've ever laughed so hard reading a book! I really hope their story continues with the wedding planning. If any of Tara Sivec's other books are like this one, she is going to become one of my new favorite authors!

Oh my Gorgonzola!

These novellas are essentially sitcom episodes. The first was the crazy meet-cute and HFN; this is the sitcom episode where Sam pops the question. The next novella is the wedding episode, and the (currently) last is the baby episode.

This is a fun continuation of Noel and Sam’s newfound love and life amid Noel’s insane family. However, the jokes are already getting overdone and Noel’s family goes from kooky to unbelievable. At times it feels like we’re laughing at, rather than with the characters. There’s a lot of jokes at the expense of old folks, married folks, and Tinder. When mom invites a stripper to live with them, it kind of jumps the shark. Overall, still fun, however the next novella is overlong and undercooked, barely worth the sale purchase.

Rough

Sam and Noel didn’t need a second novella. The amount of stuff that happened with her family, I would go no contact. The main conflict is miscommunication, mostly by her. The ending was okay.
