Meh

I think the premise is interesting but I didn’t feel any connection to the characters. The narrator was unreliable so still not sure exactly what was happening. The eroticism needed better context to be compelling. Just not for me I guess.

Just not very interesting

I adored the author's previous books, but this one just drags, and the characters aren't sufficiently interesting for me to slog through it. Bummer.

Poetic language

This book was sultry, sexy, sapphic, and left me feeling like I needed a glass of wine and a cigarette.

Just. Couldn’t figure out what was happening. . Kept listening but it got more confusing to me.
