The authors education about animal welfare, specifically pigs in this case, the treatment of animals & the meat industry blew me away. My heart was warmed to the core that she included this information & education. I adore animals & am a huge advocate for animal welfare. Although it was difficult for me to hear parts of the book because of the authors honest & accurate detail of how pigs are treated, I know that she is shedding light on the horrible treatment of animals & it was for good. It was all worth it in the end, especially since she takes time out to provide additional information regarding farm animals, stats & details on how we can all help & do our part for animals around the globe. I cannot wait for the next installment to this series & hope we don't have to wait long!!
