I may be a vampire hunter.

But I've single-handedly screwed up big time.

After botching our chance to cure vampirism and the infection that's killing me, I'm at a loss. My cousin Carl won't speak to me. The bastard who killed my sister is still alive. And Jude, the amnesiac vampire, says he's in love with me.

What's even more shocking is that I love him back.

But the more Jude learns about his past, the more it will tear our relationship and our lives apart. I'm running out of time to find a new successor to become the new Progenitor. Because when I die, it's game over for all of us.

I'll add my review in the weekend ...probably not ...but today :)

I had a great weekend! :))

Damned if I Do is my second book by Erin Hayes. As her most recent work, it's interesting to know how she's progressing, in my opinion, as a storyteller. Good job, well done!

It's a paranormal romance, my second one to listen to.
I'm not that used to vampire/slayer stories in books :)

The story flows really well, even though the characters had a past
we don't get to learn a lot about, (maybe in an earlier first book??),
I've connected with the characters in no time. They are very likable!

A solid but dangerous world, full of action, drama, strengths and weaknesses, unexpected twists... you'll see... oh the life and death situations.

Very emotional when it comes to family, our values and relying on the ones you didn't expect...

A copy of this book was provided by the author in exchange for an honest review that I gladly write right now!

Gahhhhhhhhhhh! I need book three YESTERDAY!
Oh. My. Gosh!

The Harker screwed up big time is an understatement!

Audiobook - narration, Kristin James - Very good! She's a really a good story teller and manages a buncha-buncha unique characters.

Loved this. Hated this. So much happens in this installment of the trilogy and not all of it - heck, hardly any of it is good. Everything seems to be spiraling out of control and Jude and Edie can't seem too catch a break. Really good, even better than the first. Can't wait for book 3!

I received this audiobook free of charge from AudiobookBoom in exchange for an unbiased review.

The Harker Screwed up Big Time? Understatement!

Excellent storyline and characters! I was sucked in from the beginning! I loved the first book and this one does not disappoint! If you have not read the first one you should start there so you can understand all that is going on on this one.

There is suspense, action, drama, and some unexpected developments that leaves you wanting more!

The narrator did a great job bringing the story to life! The story is told in dual POV which is my favorite. It ends in a cliffhanger which is somewhat expected since this is the second installment of the Trilogy. I'm looking forward to book 3.
