Ellis Garrett is dumping her critical boyfriend, opening a plus-size clothing store, and starting a blog-all to spread the word that fashion shouldn't require a size-two body and that happiness should allow for the occasional cupcake. Or two. But is indulging fantasies about her sister's long-ago ex, the still-hunky Michael Edwards, biting off more than she can chew?

Mike must be losing his detective's touch. He doesn't recognize Ellis when he bumps into her at Size Me Up, and he certainly doesn't remember his ex-girlfriend's outspoken sister being so irresistible. Her curves are indeed dangerous-and so is her wit. Could it be that Ellis is his Perfect Fit? One thing's for sure: Mike will make it his sworn duty to find out . . .

This was my first foray into Audible novels. I started with biographies narrated by by the author/subjects. What a difference a narrator can be, this one is horrible. Like the other reviews I found the male Irish brogue cringe worthy. I found the story pleasant enough and engaged in the characters enough to want to see where the story went. I found the story telling/voice of the sex scenes incongruent with the rest of the scenes. Maybe that was the narrator switching between characters and herself. I have the romance pack so the cost me nothing more than my membership and time and I listen in the car so was stuck in traffic anyway. Listener beware.

The reviews are spot on

The hroine was so realistic and easy to relate to. Had me hooked from beginning to end. Being a BBW myself I found so many of my own thoughts echoed in this book and related scenarios. I listened to this one as part of my audible romance package but after listening to it had to buy it because it's a keeper.

A true BBW story that's realistic and funny.

The female protagonist was very insecure and she was winning more that I liked. I do appreciate the author trying to relate a story that can actually happen in real life, but I struggled to finish the story. I also did not like the narrators voice at all.

Very realistic in terms of how relationships go

When I’m working as a dog walking I love to listen to audiobooks to make the time go by and to have some fun at the same time. When I read your book I fell in love to the story and the characters. I love how out of the box your characters are and making me fall in love with most of them (just not the bad guys). But I noticed that you only have one book on your audiobooks and I saw that the other characters gets stories as well. But due with my long hours I don’t have time to read a book. I was wondering if you’ll be able to put up the audiobooks of the series and the rest of your books. I would love to listen to your work and tell my friends how much I love listening to your story.

Would you ever listen to anything by Sugar Jamison again?

I probably wouldn't listen to another audiobook by this author. The main character was too hard on herself even though she tried to play it off as being comfortable with herself. Can't have it both ways.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Irish accent was awful! At times it sounded more "island" than Irish. At times it was difficult to tell who was supposed to be speaking. One minute it was Ellis, the next it was Mike, still sounding like Ellis.

Wanted to stop, but was like a train wreck
