Dark Romantic Suspense!

Piper Stone does it again! Rafael Santiago is a dangerous man. Savannah has seen her share of heartbreak. In Spain to help in her aunt’s erotic art gallery, her path crosses Rafael’s. Was it random, or by someone’s nefarious design? I’ll not play spoiler but you can rest assured there is mischief afoot in this red hot scorching thriller! The plot is exactly what I have come to expect of Piper Stone. Smooth, flawlessly written with beautiful natural, believable dialogue. There is plenty of mystery, suspense, heat and heart pounding action, all brought to life by absolutely stunning narration. Thomas Locklear hits a grand slam with this one. His Spanish accent is remarkable! All characters voiced are consistent and beautifully done throughout the entire length of the audiobook. His performance is absolutely stunning and makes listening pure pleasure! Five stars is nowhere near enough for this stunner! I loved it!

This book was wickedly delicious and compelling.
Thomas Locklear's ability to give each character a unique voice amazes me.
He did an exceptional job in portraying Rafael's accent and dominating nature as well as Savannah's innocence and vulnerability.

Very confusing story!

I understand the sexual intent is very graphic and that isn’t why I’m so confused. It starts off almost as if In the middle of a story and Segways to a story about a mafia sexual prowler Boss intent on defiling a young American. Maybe if the story explained up front why this woman was in the deserted streets. I love Mafia based stories but this one was not worth finishing and not one I consider worth it.

why did the female lead have to whisper the entire book, hates it, but male voice was perfect for this story, which was very good.
