My wholesome life in the Borderlands grows happier by the day. With every challenge that arises, my beautiful family meets it with open arms. Now that all my secrets are out in the open, I finally feel as though my life in Gelderham has truly begun.

That doesn't mean everything is smooth sailing, though. Between Krulnoth's reappearance, drama related to the Heart System, and even some crises involving the System Saints themselves, life in the Borderlands is never boring. But as I address everything that comes at me as pragmatically as possible, I begin to worry about the other consciousness deep inside me—how much of the Dark Lord yet remains in the deep recesses of my soul? What could bring him out once more?

One thing's for sure: I'll do whatever it takes to make sure that doesn't happen. The only thing that matters now is doting on my wife and daughter and protecting this community I've grown to love as my home.

Minions & onions are stinky.

I've been waiting for this book to come out on audio for a while now.
And I was not disappointed.
Book 2 goes Into more character detail and the system and some of those entities that run it.
This is a great LitRPG series that's not very crunchy and not Harem.
Great writing and narration.
I give this book 7.5 out of 5 stars.

This is a feel good easy listen that is a great change of pace for any fan of most genres. I will listen to the 3rd book

a very cozy feeling book. a fresh. twist on the Isekai formula. very welcome. the family environment is a joy to listen to and the narrators are wonderful

Its great to have romance books like this for men that make me feel all nice and happy

The world needs more sweet slice of life fantasy books like this the way it shows relationships and child care it’s sweet and loving and I can’t wait for book 3
