Really enjoyed the story! Loved the narrators especially Walker Williams! Got a little enjoyed with the FMC towards the end but overall great story.

Honestly, the MFC was so annoying. This book irritated me to no end. All because of the MFC!!!

Not Sure 🤔 Still Listening and Hoping…

The first book was great from start to finish for me! I didn’t hesitate to order the second one. However, I’m on chapter fifteen still hoping to grow fond of the naive, irritating MFC 😠 She is a young woman “down on her luck” that keeps getting herself into trouble by running to mob bosses & shady lenders to get money for her mother’s medical treatments. Initially, I found myself sympathetic toward her family’s dilemma, but she signs a contract without reading it or knowing who she is actually marrying. Then she accepts a million dollars, free medical care, and protection without expecting to do anything for such a lucrative offer. SMH She is not a strong, smart heroine that I want to root for! I actually couldn’t care less if this ends with a HEA. But I refuse to give up so easily. Maybe she will redeem herself, accept her fate, and become a self sufficient woman that doesn’t need the help of any man to survive.
