Great Read, Weird Narrator

I enjoyed this book! Very steamy! I could not stand the woman narrator, though. Not sure why she reads everything like she’s about to cry, but it was extremely hard to listen to. The voices she did for the other characters sounded fine, so I have no idea why the voice for Bianca was so breathy and on the verge of tears. The male narrator was much better.

If you can get past the narrators, totally worth the read/listen!!

Was cute

This book was just okay for me. I did enjoy it and thought the banter between Bee and Dash was funny. Bee is super feisty and Dash is grumpy. Dash had only ever seen Bianca and had eyes for her. He wanted her when he first saw her and stopped at nothing to have her. Bee presents an arrangement to Dash to help her sister out and Dash declines. They both went rounds with each other (it was kind of funny). Finally, Dash agrees but Bee doesn’t know that. She is prepared to tell her parents to set her up for an arranged marriage. There is a sad twist in this, and to me, I am still a little confused as to why Bee got so mad.. I also felt like this book didn’t need to be as long as it did.

Stop listening at the gala, trust me

Overall, this is a solid 3 star book, the spice? 5/5, so spicy and lots of it. This book started out strong, your typical possessive, hot, troubled billionaire, mixed with the fake relationship storyline. It basically went exactly how you would expect, including it blowing up. Also, side note, what is it with billionaire hotties and gala's? If you know, you know and it's honestly so predictable at this point. Now the end, was, shit. Sorry it was. I don't wanna spoil anything for anyone, so no details but it was a crap ending. I will say, it doesn't end with a cliffhanger and some of the other very predictable endings to this kind of thing didn't happen (honestly at chapter 60, I thought it could only go one or two ways, it was kind of rushed but the other ways, nope) so there is the fact I didn't see them getting to the end, in the manner I thought, however, lame ending. I was so into this book, until the gala, up to that point I was excited for the next two books and was kicking myself for starting a trilogy when it wasn't finished. Now that I have finished the book? Honestly wouldn't care if I didn't read the other two, because of everything from the gala on and specifically the ending.

So the short version is, oh so very spicy
Hot, handsome, possessive, domineering, MMC
MFC with a backbone (sometimes) who is a little stupid (there are some things you don't do to push buttons) who isn't overly innocent or whiny
I would recommend with the caveat that it's a horrible ending but up to that point is addictive

The narrator for Dash is not a good fit making it hard to listen to.
