I thought I had a good read on people, but this audiobook showed me there’s so much more going on under the surface. It explained dark psychology and gaslighting in a way that was easy to understand without feeling overwhelming. I caught myself thinking back to past situations and finally making sense of them. If you want to protect yourself and understand others better, this is a must-listen.

Narcissists aren't what people say.

I bought this book to better understand the behaviours of a narcissist around me and (to spot them!), and it has been a revelation. The clear explanations and practical advice helped me see through their manipulative tactics and regain control. I feel I'll spot their dodgy behaviours now and be more careful. The sections on analyzing body language were incredibly useful. If you’re dealing with a narcissist or, like me, you want to understand them better, this book is an essential read.

Diving into this book was a real eye-opener for me. I’ve always been curious about the psychology behind manipulation and this book breaks it down in a way that's easy to grasp. I was able to recognize some of these tactics in real-life situations, which was both shocking and empowering. The practical advice on how to protect yourself is invaluable. While some parts felt a bit dense, the overall content is incredibly enlightening. If you're looking to understand the hidden influences in everyday interactions, this book is a solid choice.

It’s really good!

I found that the delivery and organization were well done. It’s a super interesting book to uncover psychology. It seems that I have an upper hand on most people now. As I’m reading I’m playing back situations and how id handle them differently. But one of my favorites in the book is reading body language, that was so cool!

So interesting!

I had no idea this was actually a thing until I heard these terms for the first time a couple of months ago. Intrigued I checked out this audiobook and I wasn’t disappointed! Would recommend you give it a listen.
