What made the experience of listening to Dark Tracks the most enjoyable?
I enjoy historical fiction and I like Ms. Gregory. What did you like best about this story?
Depiction of European life during the crusades.Would you be willing to try another one of Nicola Barber’s performances?
She would be a very good performer if she understood that, whispering as often as she does, she actually requires us to set the volume too loud for anything other than a whisper. This s neither comfortable nor safe for our hearing, especially with earphones (close to the ear canal). I gave her 2 stars rather than none because, if it weren't for the whispers, her performance would be excellent.Whispering narrator. Pity!
