Sherlock schmerlock, meet Stetson Goody

These stories are fabulous "who done its," with a fantastic detective, who just happens to be a lesbian. The writing is excellent with such character development that you feel like you have just known them forever, and want to be best friends with the MCs. The narrator does an excellent job of bringing them all to life. You don't want to miss out on these books!!

I absolutely love this author and this series. She does such a great job setting the scene and creating these characters with so much fierceness that wasn’t always celebrated in this time period. The delicate way that hysteria, child neglect and mental health was written into the story gave me so much respect for trailblazers like Evelyn and Stetson. The sapphic part is just the bonus to the characters. ❤️❤️❤️

Better and Better

This series is fantastic! Each book got better with more layers and characters added. I like to imagine that these stories could have really happened. I highly recommend this book series!

Wonderful third part

all three books with all the stories in each one are positively superb. one is quickly immersed in Victorian London a la Sherlock Holmes but with a lovely lesbian twist. actually like this character a bit more than Sherlock Holmes himself. Miss Stetson Goodie is a wonderful character that you cannot help falling in love with. I really hope someday there is another set of stories.
