I liked getting to know the older characters such as the grand parents as well as the younger lovers and their frienfd

Both the good and bad characters were interesting. But glad the lovers solved the crime and the story had a happy ending for all but the bad guys.

Would have scored higher except

I'm a Madison You're a Madison He's a Madison We're Madisons she's a Harte I'm a Harte you're a Harte we're Hartes,
I hoped this would have calmed down in Book 2, but it's just as bad.
